There’s been a lot of recent chatter about the Chargers potentially finding quarterback Philip Rivers’ successor in next month’s NFL draft. Rivers even addressed the topic last week on XTRA 1360 in San Diego.

It’s reasonable for the organization to plan for the future, but this is not the year to find a successor.
