The Los Angeles Chargers released offensive lineman D.J. Fluker, cornerback Brandon Flowers and wide receiver Stevie Johnson just before Tuesday’s NFL free agency negotiation period, per multiple reports.

The moves create an additional $19.3 million in cap space, per Over the Cap, giving the Chargers $24.4 million to work with before free agency. Entering Tuesday, only the Chiefs and Cowboys had less cap space than the Chargers.

Fluker started 59 games in four seasons with the San Diego Chargers. HeĀ graded out as the 54th-ranked guard in the NFL last season (63.7), per Pro Football Focus (subscription required).

Flowers, 31, started six games before finishing last season on injured reserve with a concussion. Johnson tore his meniscus in training camp, missing the entire 2016 season.

Los Angeles enters free agency with needs on both sides of the ball, but most notably at offensive line. Pro Football Focus graded the Chargers’ O-line as 31st in the NFL last season.
